One Day At A Time Sweet Jesus!

Wavy, on an average day, she will get up and dress herself.  She is kind of picky about what she wears.  She LUVS to look pretty!!! OG combs her hair and picks out a lot of pretty bows and barrettes to wear in her hair.  On certain days, she likes that curly all over her head look, with a headband.  She luvs the pony tails.  She likes to comb my hair.  She luvs to eat cereal and oatmeal and milk for breakfast.(Milk does a body good) And on sum days, "pannie cakes" are a must.  Waverley has 2 dogs, A short fat Pit Bull named Buddah Joe and a German Sheppard named Eva la’Diva.  She plays with the Sheppard the most because Eva luvs to play and Buddah just lays around & looks 4 a quiet place to chill. Waverley luvs to pass out the Scooby snacks when the dogs come in from doing their business. She gives buddah his snack and not so much to Eva cuz Eva, is too “ruff” (Ha ha) When OG gets off work, it is time to get bizzy with the rest of our day.  First we hit the gym and she goes to the daycare while I play racquetball and hit the weights.  We do that for about 2 hours.  Then it back home.  If we don’t go to the gym, we get in the stroller and explore the city & neighborhood; getting sum vitamin d, (weather permitting).  We recently bought a little tykes playhouse and set it up outside in the back yard and she luvs 2 play outside on the nice days.  She is very smart & loves to do her colors, shape, 1,2,3s & A,B,Cs.
After playtime, we eat dinner, take a bath and try to wind down from the day.  After all that, we get in bed, read stories and she gets a back rub to put her to sleep.  She has to have a fan on to block out the outside noises (Buddah snoring).  She also like to have a cd playing, her favorite is the princess cd or her Jesus cd that sings songs for kids.  I usually like to get her in bed no later than 9p.  after that, it’s down time for OG. We(Devon & I) are a tag team, thank God our work schedules are opposite. It is important for right now that she be with one of us. We chose not to inflate her life with lots of new family and people too soon, But she enjoys talking to them on the phone.

Just 2 give u a little background on the, “og”  Waverley has another set of g’parents and they are the na-na and granma.  The word granny……..was not for me.  So we came up with og.  Im not even in my 50 so being called the “granny”  was not appealing to me. J

Luvs:  cereal, oatmeal, snacks(sweets), mac-n cheese, milk, water, blueberries, yogurt,  and veggies.

Dislikes:  she doesn’t really have any dislikes at this time that I can think of.  Except maybe………..prune juice……(yuk!!!!)

Oh……og makes this bread, called friendship bread and it takes like 10 days to make.  She luvs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It.

Waverly has made a big adjustment within the last 2 months and she is doing just great!!!!  She fits right in.  it is almost like she never left or was gone.  She mentions at times her other home, Parsley(her other dog) and her sister, Harper.

Just to make mention, my son has told the adoptive parents of Waverley that if they wanted to come visit or call they were welcome to do so. At this time, they have not done so. We know all to well that this is heartbreaking for them as it had been for us. Our prayers are with them. That door will remain open.

Well, this is justa start 4 now and I will keep u all posted on daily happenings in the life of lil Miss Waverley.  Until next time, God bless and take care
